About this objectThis Egyptian jar has a spherical globular body with a rounded base. The short neck tapers slightly inwards and is topped with a rolled rounded rim. It is made of a light greenish-grey coarse clay. A heavily scored Y-shaped mark on the side of the belly could be a potters mark.
This artefact was likely used in a domestic or funerary context.
