Teece Museum Audio Description Tours
Audio Description Tours are a new way to experience the ancient artefacts on display in the Teece Museum. Each one hour audio tour will give visitors the chance to look, listen and feel, as they learn more about the ancient world. These tours are designed particularly with the needs of blind and low-vision visitors in mind, but are open to anyone to attend.
Hosted by one of our curatorial team, each audio description tour will focus on a selection of three or four artefacts. Visitors will have the opportunity to hold a replica of each object and listen to the audio description for each, before hearing more about their history and significance from the curators.
The Teece Museum is best suited to smaller tour groups. Tour numbers will be capped at 15 people to ensure everyone gets the most out of the experience.
Next Audio Tour: Thursday 24 April, 3pm
Tours are FREE but places are limited. Book tickets.
