About this objectA fragment considered to be from a bowl used either for storage or food service. The image of a bird featured on the fragment in dark-brown / black paint indicates that it is part of a group with a similar theme, named 'bird-bowls'. The inside of the bowl was painted black. Although this fragment was found in Smyrna, it is believed to have been made in Rhodes.
