How to find us
The main doors to the UC Teece Museum are located on the side of our building which faces the Arts Centre South Quad. Our red sandwich board signs will be out whenever we are open.
The Teece Museum is fully accessible for wheelchairs, visitors with limited mobility, or for families with prams. The accessibility entrance is via the glass doors at 3 Hereford St. Ring the doorbell placed on the accessibility sign just to the left of the doors, and one of our helpful gallery hosts will come to assist you.
Accessible car parks
There are a number of accessible car parks both on the street and off-street.
- There is one mobility car park directly outside our building on Hereford St, 5m away from the Museum.
- The Arts Centre Hereford Street car park has two mobility car parks. This car park is located 20m away from the Museum.
- There are four mobility car parks located along Rolleston Avenue, near Lumiere Cinemas. They are approximately 100m away from the Teece.
- There are two mobility car parks in the Arts Centre Market Square carpark, approximately 350m away.
Visitors can be dropped off at the Museum entry on Hereford St, which is our most accessible entry. Outside our building on Hereford St there are four on-street carparks including one mobility car park. There is also a drop-off zone directly outside the Observatory Hotel on Hereford St.
If you need to wait to be picked up after your visit, the Hereford St entrance has a small lobby with a view of the road. This is a small space and not suitable for large numbers of people, so we recommend communicating a pick up time with your driver beforehand wherever possible.
